Discussion about Michio
Michio Chinen
In his former school he was lazy, sleeping in class, a general slacker.
His parents send him to a “Aided Education” school due to this laziness.
This opens up a reason for him to go somewhere new and allow for dynamic change.
The MC grows up in a house hold where his parents don’t pay him much attention, he is given what he wants to stay off their case and generally does not socialize with other children
As he approaches his last year of high school his parents realize that he hasn’t really matured at all, still anti social with no plans for the future
They send him away to this school to help get his grades back up but more importantly so that he can find his own way without the support of his parents as a guiding hand through every situation
Upon reaching his new school that he detests greatly his plan is to simply tough it out, live alone in his dorm room and just make it through the year until he makes it back home.

Re: Discussion about Michio
Looking at this description, and reading the prologue, I do have one note to make (the prologue is well written, by the way). It of course, makes sense that the MC would be a slacker - that's one of the main contributors of coming to our school. However, from what I have read, there is not that much to like about him immediately - we need to see something truly relatable or likeable, or readers may not build a connection/attachment with the character early on... something I feel that is important.

Re: How I see Michio
This should be better.
